COMPLEXITY AND CONTRADICTION IN ARCHITECTURE.

The American architect and essayist Robert Venturi (1925-2018) in his manifesto of 1966 fought the aspects that seemed more restrictive and puritanical of modernism.

Summarized in the concept "less is more", the philosophy of R. Venturi led him to a broader assessment of architecture: less is more boring, less is less art. Because in a puritan interpretation we remain in architecture: without ambiguity, without variety, without the expressions of popular culture from many eras and countries, without tradition and elegance, without the ornamental elements. In short, we are left with less art. With the collection "Innovation 2018 Decorative Tiles" TICSA starts its offer to the complexity of architecture with the following collections: Porcelain body handcrafted tiles collection: 15x15 cm. hexagon in white, beige, gray and black body colors.
