TICSA tiles technical data: Water absorption 1.7 to 2.2%. Qualifies as stoneware. Water steam absorption 11.6%. It’s a terracotta because it transpires. It withstands the sodium sulphate test, which normally does not resist any handmade terracotta. WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT: The formidable "final look" of our finishes and polishes that increase the craft to artwork. It’s a natural and ecological material, because it transpires with nature and human life. HOW TO GET THE "EXCELLENT" SEAL in 2016: Our manufacturing system is not by stock. We manufacture according to the sample ACCEPTED by the customer. The goal of the EXCELLENT seal is to gather, when the job is completed, the owner, technician, installer and distributor with the TICSA representative to check whether the EXCELLENT quality has been achieved. To celebrate the XXX Anniversary of its establishment in America, TICSA will award during 2016 to the owner, technician and installer with an artisan artistic tile of the TICSA musical instruments gallery (pages 94 and 95 of the Pedralbes catalog).
